Ketamine is a fast acting powerful general anaesthetic, given as Intravenous or Intramuscular injection, Adult Ketamine Dosage is 50mg/ml as hydrochloride in 10ml vial.
It is used in both human as well as veterinary medicine. It is also one of the most common drugs used illicitly as a recreational drug. However its use as Club drug is limited because of its anaesthetic properties at high doses.
Ketamine Chemical Composition:
(RS)-2-(2-Chlorophenyl)-2-(methylamino)cyclohexanone
Properties:
It is an odorless and tasteless anesthetic, which usually causes amnesia, hence commonly used as a date rape drug

About 3-5 hr.
Side Effects:
Ketamine is a fast acting anesthetic, it could produce severe hallucinations, near death experiences (“K-hole”), extreme fear, bad trip, severe confusion, unusual thoughts, double vision, muscle twitching, drowsiness, vomitings, nausea, etc
Addiction:
Ketamine is usually taken as a CLUB DRUG, it is swallowed or snorted but rarely taken through intravenous or intramuscular routes by drug abusers.
Contraindications:
Ketamine is contraindicated in patients with high blood pressure and in patients with hypersensitivity reactions.
